Stephen Shayler Emerges Victorious from £220 Buy-in DTD200 Six-Max Event

The first-ever DTD200 Six-Max tournament event kicked off last week, featuring a buy-in of £220 as well as a guaranteed prize pool amounting to £100,000. It was won by Daniel Harwood. This weekend the UK player Stephen Shayler became the one who emerged victorious from the new tournament of the Dusk Till Dawn, taking home a prize of £20,000.

Shayler managed to outlast all his opponents to find himself on top of the list of the event. The weekend’s Dusk Till Dawn event attracted a total of 448 players who competed for the £100,000 guaranteed prize pool, with cash portions granted only to the top 48 of them. A number of popular poker professionals, including Jack Allen, Peter Wigglesworth, Cat Winch, Eirimas Livonas, Sebastian Pawlak, etc. took part in the new DTD200 Six-Max event, with each one of them finishing in the money.

The smallest cash portion that was granted in the tournament amounted to £400. The official final table was six-handed, but seven players started the game.

The Dutch poker player Marcel Luske got seventh, forming the top six in the competition. Then, with the elimination of Cunliffe, Stephen Shayler and Gavin Manley remained as the last two players standing. The heads-up battle between the two of them was about 30 minutes long before Shayler was crowned as the event’s winner.

With Stephen Shayler ranking on top of the list, Gavin Manley was left on the runner-up position. He took a prize of £11,450 for his efforts. Chris Cunliffe remained third, being granted with a £7,450 cash portion of the guaranteed prize pool.

The fourth place was occupied by Richard Armstrong for £5,600, followed by Paul Jackson who remained fifth, winning a total of £4,500. Adam Bone took the sixth position in the final table’s ranking, with a cash prize of £3,700.

As mentioned above, the DTD200 Six-Max event is a new tournament addition to the Dusk Till Dawn Offerings. The tournament runs into re-entry format and features a buy-in of £220 and a guaranteed prize pool amounting to £100,000.

The regular DTD200 event that is to kick off at 9:00 PM on January 25th is to run until January 29th. Then on February 1st, it will be transformed into a DTD200 Eight-Max event which is to run until February 5th.
